Samantha Ruth Prabhu dropper her red bridal look in perfect sync with the wedding season ahead. Indian weddings have had too much of muted tones; from Anushka Sharma’s rosy pink lehengas back in 2019 to Alia Bhatt’s ivory saree. Yes, we are enamoured by these ultra-feminine shades, to say the least. But I bet my career, nothing comes even an inch closer to red wedding-themed glamour.

Styled by Pallavi Singh and Selvi, Samantha turned muse to the undeniable richness of an artfully crafted pure-Katan silk Benarasi saree from the shelves of Arpita Mehta. The featured intricate gold and beige powder-zari buttis are finished with a woven pallu adorned with structured motifs. The paired blouse. showcasing a traditional cut, elbow-length sleeves and high neckline, matches the shade of the saree and was generously embroidered.

Her hair was neatly tied in a bun and was decked with gajra, softening her look and adding a sweet contrast to her rich red saree.

Complementing her red bridal look was an exquisite temple-style South Indian gold choker paired with a longer necklace and a gajra tied to the bun. And while we were drawn to her gold bangles and stone-embellished kadas, it was her uniquely shaped humongous engagement ring

What appeased us what her minimal henna design, both on her hands and feet. It is the subtlety of her Mehendi which stood out from her overall outfit, adding Indian charm to it. Tying her look together was her classic barely-there makeup featuring rosy, pink lips, defined eyebrows, kohl-rimmed eyes and a tiny red bindi.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru look utterly blissful in their wedding photographs, glowing with joy and perfectly in sync in their coordinated ensembles. From a fashion lens, it was Samantha’s bridal look that truly stole the spotlight, blending heritage textiles with intricate temple jewellery and a striking modern ring that beautifully marked the beginning of a stylish new chapter.
